1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using new-energy-works.com (the "Site") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this Site. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18. The Site is not intended for, and must not be used by, anyone under 18. We reserve the right to terminate access if we have reason to believe this age requirement has been breached.

3. Nature of the Service

New Energy Works is a free-to-play social arcade. All games on the Site are played exclusively with virtual Arc Coins, which are provided free of charge by the platform. The Site does not constitute gambling under the Gambling Act 2005 or any other applicable legislation, because:

• No real money, currency, or financial consideration of any kind is required to play.
• Arc Coins have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or sold for cash, goods, services, or any other tangible benefit.
• Outcomes in the games, whether described as wins or losses, result only in changes to a virtual coin balance that itself has no monetary value.

4. Virtual Currency

Arc Coins are a virtual in-game unit. They are provided free by the Site, reset upon page refresh, and exist solely to enable gameplay. Arc Coins cannot be transferred between users, purchased, sold, or converted into anything of real-world value under any circumstances. Any attempt to assign real-world value to Arc Coins — whether through external trading, claims of equivalent cash, or otherwise — is a breach of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Site you agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or exploit any game mechanic, the coin-balance system, or any security measure.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to interact with the games.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt the Site.
• Use the Site for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
• Misrepresent your identity or age.
• Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, obscene, or offensive.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who breaches these conditions, without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including game artwork, code, the Voltcore lore, Voltex mascot design, and brand materials — is owned by or licensed to New Energy Works Studios Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Game outcomes are determined by pseudo-random algorithms for entertainment purposes only; they are not indicative of skill, real probability, or any commercial outcome.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, New Energy Works Studios Ltd and its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any direct claim shall not exceed £50. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of certain types of damages — in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
